Alvan Blanch Continual Flow Dryers have long been recognised as an efficient and easy way of drying down crops to a desired moisture percentage for storage or delivery.
Alvan Blanch Australia has partnered with Dryer Master to add another level of control and efficiency. A Dryer Master system delivers real-time moisture measurement and advanced control of your dryer. In addition, DM Mobile allows you to monitor and make changes to your dryer from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. As a result, productivity and throughput increase while reducing manpower when drying.
The Challenge
As the capacity of headers increased so does the requirement to become more efficient at delivery and/or storage of grain. Harvest requires the organisation of header drivers, chaser bin drivers, filling silos and then ensuring the grain to be stored or sent to the grain receival is at the correct moisture.
No matter the moisture of the grain going into the dryer, the dryer needs to be as productive and efficient as possible giving the operators confidence in the grain moisture percentage result.
The Solution
We have achieved maximum drying efficiency by installing a Dryer Master DM510 on the all-new mobile MDF 33500. The great performance of this dryer was further enhanced by the DM510’s ability to use the real-time moisture measurement to automatically adjust the dryer throughout the day. As inlet moistures and drying conditions change, the Dryer Master continuously calculates and automatically adjusts the discharge rate for the current conditions. Not only does it optimize drying performance, but it also frees up the operator from continually monitoring and adjusting the discharge rate.
The operator can perform other duties while monitoring the DM510 from a smart phone.
The great news is that our current Alvan Blanch owners can easily retrofit a DM510 onto their dryer. It’s cost effective and improves the performance of their dryer, adding to their bottom line.
